Our Lady Star of the Sea Church will be closed for painting from August 9 to August 13. During this time, all daily Masses will be held at St. Michael's Church. Please plan to attend at 7:00 am and 5:15 pm ...there have been only a handful of Masses in the past year at St. Michael's Church so these are special.
Spanish language Masses will be at 7:00 pm Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

UPDATE ON THE PRESERVATION OF ST. MICHAEL'S CHURCH

This update is not good. Please realize that a good part of ST. MICHAEL'S CAMPUS- Dante Hall & Quaremba Hall- is for sale to the highest bidder. This CERTAINLY means that despite promises or rhetoric... St. Michael's Church, which is connected to all campus structures, is in jeopardy. At the same time new pastor Fr. Mohan refuses to speak to the SMCPS. We can all read the hand-writing on the wall!

I suggest that all parishioners speak to Fr. Mohan and express your support to maintain St. Michael's Church and campus. We think that the sale of Dante Hall and Quaremba Hall will lead almost definitely to the sale of St. Michael's Church.

Needless to say the SMCPS will continue to attempt to partner with Fr. Mohan as we did with former pastor Fr. Jon Thomas to maintain, grow, and save St. Michael's Church.
