NEWS FLASH....Atlantic City Press Story on Repurposing St. Michael's School

The St. Michael’s Church Preservation Society is teaming up with the Parish of St. Monica to renovate and repurpose St. Michael’s School that closed in 1988. The school is in relatively good shape and located above Historic St. Michael’s Church. It includes classrooms from K- 8th Grade with offices that can be used for community meetings, adult education classes, community meeting, Non-profit organizations, art studios, retreats, or my favorite a “Ducktown Museum” celebrating the people and places worth remembering and emulating today. On Monday, July 17 the Press of Atlantic City printed the story below about this project and interviewed our Pastor Fr. Jon Thomas. The project now is seeking community support both financial and manpower to realize the vision. Click on the link below for the full story and more photos.
