We understand that Argyll and Bute Council have decided to ignore all of the good advice and the protests.

We are informed that on 03 September 2018 paper signs were observed stuck over the car park notices changing the fee from £1 a day to £1 an hour - this equates to £9 a day!

After more than 20 years it is (somewhat sadly) time to say goodbye to the Arrochar car parks. They are now the most expensive climbing and hillwalking car parks in Scotland - quite an achievement for Argyll and Bute Council
