This November, Your Vote Matters!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted an update here.
A couple of years ago, I started this petition because I was deeply concerned about financial transparency, staff morale, and the direction of MHUSD. I attended board meetings, followed district decisions closely, spoke publicly, and shared regular updates. Eventually, like so many parents, life got busy and I stepped back.
But I haven’t stopped paying attention.
The concerns that brought many of us here haven’t gone away. Our district continues to face serious financial pressures, academic achievement remains concerning, and families have watched tremendous change within their individual schools. Think about your own school over the past few years—how many teachers, administrators, support staff, programs, and services have changed?
This November, we have an opportunity to make our voices heard at the ballot box.
I personally support the following candidates for the MHUSD Board of Education:
Area 1 — Nancy Altman-Palm
Area 2 — Gabriela “Gabby” Winter
Area 3 — Art Cohen
Area 4 — Glen R. Webb
You will only vote in the Trustee Area where you live.
If you signed this petition because you wanted greater transparency, accountability, fiscal responsibility, stronger support for our educators, and better outcomes for our students, this is the time to pay attention and vote.
Local elections matter enormously. These are the people making decisions that directly affect our children, teachers, classrooms, and community.
Please research your Trustee Area, talk to your neighbors, and most importantly—vote.
