Hello Everyone - Happy Friday! This is a quick update informing you that the April 16th Agenda has been posted on the Agendas & Minutes page. The speaker form is now available. And instructions here if needed. And some talking points here.

The board members have till Sunday to ask questions/clarifications of the agenda items. 

A few highlights of the April 16th Agenda:

• List of contracts signed in March pending board approval.
  • Two additional certified behavioral analysts contracted for nearly $12K/month each. RBTs (Registered Behavior Therapist) can be hired through the union (MHFT) on classified salary schedule far less than this rate. The question remains why MHUSD is unable to work with the union or create a climate to retain certified employees. 
• March 22 retreat minutes - including the boards' self-assessment  Unclear what was the conclusion or takeaway of this self-assessment. 
• There is no information on the Superintendent's performance evaluation. 
• Measure G Citizen's Oversight Committee applicant - I just learned about this. committee. We should look into creation of a Budget Advisory Committee that oversees MHUSD budget. And provides recommendations.
