Back in 2018 you signed a petition asking for a greenway alongside the Velorail!  Thank you for doing that.

Since then the Velorail has opened and effectively privatised the route.  Nothing was done by Mayo county council to put a greenway in alongside the Velorail.  The East Mayo councillors Neil Cruise, Michael Smyth (now left the scene and replaced by Adrian Forkan), Gerry Murray and John Caulfield did nothing to support the community in Kiltimagh in their request for a free to use Greenway alongside the Velorail. What is more all four East Mayo councillors ignored the 1,000 submissions on the county plan asking for the closed railway to be a greenway until such time as a railway might be possible.

The same four guys Forkan, Cruise, Murray, Caulfield will be asking for your vote in June.
