Have you taken at look at the Quiet Man Greenway group in Galway, the campaign is flying. Sligo greenway co-op are applying for funding for a greenway from Collooney to Charlestown
East Mayo is been left high and dry and our politicians are not listening.
Last year Micheal Martin said he thought the greenway was a no brainer ttps://www.tuamherald.ie/news/roundup/articles/2017/07/26/4143516-greenway-boost-as-ff-leader-doesnt-foresee-return-of-railway/
And Deputy Anne Rabbitte of FF in Galway agrees with her leader. Lets ask the two FF TDs in Mayo do you agree with your leader Michael Martin.
If you live in Mayo these two are your TDs, it makes no difference if you vote for them, they need answer questions, (forget about Kenny he has gone to sleep and Ring is against our project).......
So drop an email to daracallearytd@gmail.com; dara.calleary@oir.ie and lisa.chambers@oir.ie and copy it to micheal.martin@oir.ie and ask a simple question
Dear Lisa and Dara
could you let me know as a Mayo constituent do you agree or disagree with your leaders comments about a greenway on the closed railway from Athenry to Collooney as quoted in the Tuam Herald last year here is the link for you ttps://www.tuamherald.ie/news/roundup/articles/2017/07/26/4143516-greenway-boost-as-ff-leader-doesnt-foresee-return-of-railway/
Your colleague in Galway Anne Rabbitte fully supports a greenway are you with her or against her? There is huge support for a greenway from Athenry to Sligo on the closed railway so please could you let me know if you support this fantastic idea, and please don't give me that waffle about a railway coming back, you really need to adopt a sense of realism on that one!
Yours etc -------- please let them know where you live, if you live outside Mayo they probably won't reply.
Many thanks. Keep the pressure up
