We are nearly at 200 signatures on our petition asking for a safe walking and cycling route alongside the velorail route in Kiltimagh. Most signatures are coming from county Mayo residents, with nearly 40/200 coming from Kiltimagh itself! THIS IS IMPORTANT! as it shows the local support for this idea in Kiltimagh. We are asking our supporters to focus on getting more local signatures for this petition. In the meantime our other petition for the greenway all the way from Sligo to Athenry continues to attract more support, so please sign that if you haven't already, but most importantly keep recruiting supporters from the East Mayo area. Mayo county council ignored 284 submissions on the county plan asking for this greenway, they need to be told, we are not going away!!!!!
