UPDATE on 2nd Working Holiday Visa extensions
The Department of Immigration announced on the 24/8/2015 that the Rules would change on the 31/8/2015 and from that date onwards all 2nd visa applicants must provide pay slips as evidence for their applications.
After many phone calls from the WWOOF Office, WWOOF Hosts and WWOOFers the Department of Immigration and Border Protection agreed to allow WWOOFers who were currently on a WWOOF placement or who had a prior arrangement to begin a placement to finish that placement and apply for their second visa without payslips. In the case of a pre-arranged placement they also need a letter of explanation from their Hosts to accompany their application.
We leave W Tree tomorrow, Tuesday the 8th of September ,for Canberra to present this petition to Peter Dutton, MP, Minister for Immigration and Border Protection. We will also be presenting an Issues Paper to a group of MPs while we are in Canberra.
Thank you again for your support, WWOOFers, WWOOF Hosts and the Team at the WWOOF Office appreciate your help.
