Peter Dutton, I’m asking for compassion: let me be free
Mar 16, 2017 — In 4 days I could be forced out of my home, ripped apart from my beautiful husband and friends in Brisbane.
Indefinite detention is hell, and returning to Iran is even worse. Two men, that I knew and trusted, took my innocence away and I am afraid of what will happen if I return. Their abuse was unthinkable. One of them has ties to the government. I cannot return as I fear I will be killed. I just want what every woman wants – to be free, safe, loved and able to continue building my life.
I've just had help recording this video message to Immigration Minister Peter Dutton, please ‘share’ it on Facebook and leave a comment asking Minister Dutton to have a heart and let me stay.
I have just days left on my bridging visa. Please Minister, I’m getting desperate.
Thank you to the 40,000 Australians that have already signed my petition to support me. That kindness has gone a long way to make me feel comfortable during a very overwhelming time for me and my loved ones here.
