Do not dishonor an already agreed upon State Employee Contract!

The Issue

The legislative majority is attempting to violate state labor contracts effecting more than 15,000 working men and women. The ASEA contract dating back to early 2013. The ASEA Contract was negotiated in good faith with the previous administration and its monetary terms were approved by previous legislatures. The legislature has the responsibility to honor all its contracts both public and private. By eliminating funding from this years Operating Budget, the legislative majority is breaking a bond with the people who deliver state service across Alaska. We ask that you sign the petition to show the new legislators the importance of honoring contracts. To remind them they were given this opportunity by the people of Alaska - the same people who will remember this blatant disregard during the next elections.
