Today on behalf of Dr. Mark Jones Mr. Brian Boles (Director of secondary education) and Ms. Angela Anderpoint (Chatham HS principal) had a sit down meeting with me, we discussed the topic and they continued pushing the agenda of PCS’s solely academic achievements displayed “this is the way we’ve always done it” and that we should “agree to disagree” seeming to have zero care for this topic.

I asked “why don’t we recognize the seniors at all who are joining the Armed forces?” to which I was told “if we recognized that we’d have to recognize all other groups (this truly makes no sense being the only other groups are student and teacher led and not a commitment to country and freedoms).

I informed both Mr. Boles and Dr. Jones that we will continue to push and petition for this irregardless of what they say and that “We understand you are retiring and we hope that younger leadership for tomorrow will better PCS.”

Overall I hope that we as a team will continue to fight for this and hopefully that we may win. And that Dr. Mark Jones and the PCS board will continue to enjoy their freedoms they get to enjoy from their couches.
