That is a link to some of the highlights of James playing football in 9th grade.  If you are someone monitoring this petition and can’t make up your mind on signing or not, take a look.  Mind you, that is not a complete catalog due to the fact that I work for a living and do not go to all of my son’s games. Whatever you see in that video was done playing one quarter at running back and usually about a half playing linebacker.  James did not start on JV or Freshman in 9th grade.  Upperclassmen were brought down to the freshman games to play over him.  Legacy students who have a St Mary’s coach as a career academy teacher were told (why, even if true?) James left the school because he was a “bad teammate” for being upset that he was not the starting running back for the varsity this past year.  Well, James wasn’t even the starting Running back on JV!  Nothing changed.  James nor anyone in his family ever disparaged the abilities of the other kids who were being played in front of him because there’s no contest or comparison.  It was never the kids’ fault what their parents were buying for them.  James never even corrected them or retaliated against them when they’d say they were better than him. It was just sad and James has a sense of humor.  Other kids on the team defended James and told them to their faces that they would never sniff the field if it wasn’t for their parents.  Opposing coaches who I’ve worked with or  cut their hair have said all that ever hard to be done was leave James in and we would have won easy.  I cut kids hair from Mandan all the time who talk about James breaking an arm, a wrist, a collarbone, and have another kid a concussion just playing one quarter against them!

Please watch this video and tell me on what planet he’d only be playing a quarter a game.  A freshman or JV game!  A quarter where people got their arms broken and concussions just trying to tackle him.  And this screenshot of a post above admitting that James was discriminated against in practice to not being allowed to participate in any hitting drills to protect the chosen kids.  If it wasn’t discrimination that James wasn’t playing, I’m at a loss for what to call it.  I live in completely objective reality and I can’t find any reason as hard as I’ve tried.  This isn’t “perceived prowess” as has been said in the comments, it’s objective reality the whole world lives in except people who have a vested interest in living in denial.
