Brimbank Solidarity for Palestine group are community members and expressing concerns for the people of Gaza and a Free Palestine. Our Mayor has “vanished” and we are attending Council Office for a silent protest and in hope of locating her or asking for her and other councillors to answer our Phone calls, emails and text messages. They have gone unanswered. Silence is Complicity and speaks louder then words, so we hope Mayor Ranka Rasic will put time aside for us in her busy schedule.
This is a peaceful protest and we hope our presence will encourage Brimbank Council to meet us for a round table meeting for an open and cohesive discussion.
As the year is winding up we wish you all a Peaceful, and Loving Christmas and Safe & New Year. Our hearts will be with Palestine and Gaza. Please stay tuned for updeading into the New Year for more planned actions.
