Hope you are keeping well. I wish to draw your attention to the massive logging happening in Mt Kenya Forest. It started out as what they called 'harvesting overgrown trees' the government introduced the shamba system as a way of replanting the trees. However this has been used by foresters and the forest Askaris to enrich themselves in collaboration with the millers. The Pine & Kenyan Cedar should not be harvested but the plantations that have these trees will soon be extinct.
Sagana, Thīgū & Gura Rivers are drying up. 
There are more than 36 trucks of logs leaving the Hobe & Kabaru forests (sections of Mt Kenya Forest) I am ready to mobilize and start reforestation but we can only do it if this massive logging is stopped.
