NIH Now Wants to Create Transgender Monkeys to Study HIV

The National Institutes of Health has just taken their abuse of animals one step further. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), led by Director Anthony Fauci, which is now part of NIH, intends to dive deeper into the studies of HIV. This time they want to "feminize" male monkeys. 

In PETA's words:

PETA has discovered that the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases funded (to the tune of $205,562) a proposed experiment that will subject male rhesus macaques to feminizing hormone therapy to see whether that makes them more susceptible to HIV, purportedly to help transgender women. But rather than holding a proper clinical study with willing human patients that would yield relevant information, these experimenters have decided to use monkeys, who can’t become infected with HIV.

These experiments will contribute nothing to the studies of HIV, and they will not help transgender women in any way. Reported on January 10th, Anthony Fauci will be funding this preposterous experiment-wasting taxpayers money and harming animals, yet again.
