The purpose of this petition is to raise awareness and hopefully get UK parliament to review the laws for horse racing especially in the Grand National. Fences should be lowered to a standard that is safe and not putting the horses life in danger. The Grand National happens once a year and is making millions and millions, but what about the horses? Set up to fail by the height of the fences? Running for 4 miles straight. Getting whipped? Braking their necks/legs? The life expectency of a horse is 25/30 years, but yet a race horse is used for racing for around  4 years. Why? Then what happens?

Why do horses have to suffer and put their lives at risk for the entertainment of humans? It’s barbaric. We are in 2019! This does not need to happen! It shouldn’t happen.

Raise awareness and get the UK parliament to speak about reviewing the laws for horses welfare and using animals for gambling purposes.
