Save our wolves by reintroducing them to their historic range.

The Issue

There is a current push by the Trump administration to delist gray wolves from the Endangered Species Act which would allow trophy hunters to slaughter wolves under the false pretense of "population management." The only way for us to save our wolves is if we start reintroducing them to parts of their historic range--the parts of their range that was destroyed by man.

Currently, there are two historically wild tracts of land that used to be home to wolves and bears alike: Central Park in New York City and Rock Creek Park in Washington, DC. Both of these areas include forested and open sections that could once again serve as prime habitat for the reintroduction of wolves. Science has shown that wolves only hunt when hungry and both parks have plenty of small wild pests (like squirrels and raccoons). Therefore, the reintroduced wolves will not be a danger to humans or our pets and can be trusted around our family members. As a bonus, the existence of wolves in our metropolitan areas will extend natural wolf corridors for migratory routes and genetic stability through breeding.

Please join me in saving our wolves and having our voices heard by the tone deaf politicians!
