My family and I recently purchased a puppy from Pet land of Pensacola on August 12th. He was filthy and kept coughing and when I asked the pet advisor about the cough I was told that it was just because he was excited so then I asked if the store could give him a bath before we left I was told they don't do that. Come to find out at the first vet visit on August 14th Hercules was diagnosed with kennel cough and Giardia (a bacterial infection of the intestines) and an eye infection. He was given 3 different medications and an ointment for his eyes. By Friday the 18th he had to return to the vet because he was so puny. He was running a fever and not eating or drinking. He was given IV fluids and an antibiotic shot along with more meds to continue at home. A few days later he started vomiting and had to go back to the vet again. Now he has gastritis, colitis, and tracheobronchitis. Given more meds again. He's just now 4 months old and he's got more health problems than an 80 year old person! Petland could not care less about Hercules or my family's attachment to him. They said just bring "the dog" back and get your money back. I would never do that to Hercules. Please help me save the other poor helpless animals that the store is responsible for by shutting them down for good!
