What the council decided last night 1) They decided to reverse their decision concerning the "privatisation" of Golowan 2) They committed the running of the festival in 2016 to a Community Interest Company a not for profit organisation 3) They agreed that the festival beyond this is to be run by a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (a limited liability charity) 4) They agreed to fund the festival to the tune of at least £25,000 per year until 2019.. All things considered this is a victory for the Save Golowan campaign we started this campaign to stop the private take over of Golowan and we have won more than that
