I am writing you today to free Jermaine Trice who was 19 years old when given a life sentence without the possibility of parole. He was never given a fair trail and he tried to fight for his freedom all the way up to the Supreme Court of Justice. The Supreme Court of Justice know all about it. They don't want to admit their guilt. He don't deserve to be in prison, but because he was illegally sentenced they know that this could potentially expose their wrong doing over so many years.

Jermaine Trice, was accused to be among a group that robbed Lilly’s Market, a family grocery store in North Philadelphia, in December 1993. One of the robbers, Julius Jenkins, pulled out a gun, and fatally shot the store owner, who had crouched behind a counter. Mr. Trice was not accused for being armed. However, Julius Jenkins the gunman is now out FREE!!! However, Julius Jenkins received the benefits of the new Juvenile lifers law, which states that it is illegal to sentence juveniles to life without the possibility of parole. How could it be possible that Jermaine Trice is still sitting behind bars without the possibility of parole when he was only 19 years old and the person who was found guilty for the murder is home with his family because according to scientific evidence, the human brain doesn't fully develop until the age of 25? There's clearly something wrong here. This is not justice. 

Jermaine Trice deserves his freedom back!

He's personally responsible for his youngest son Quamiir Trice's turn around story. It was when Jermaine Trice was able to build a meaningful relationship with his son that Quamiir began to turn his life around. Quamiir share stories about writing letters with his dad and how his dad was nothing, but a positive influence in his life. This doesn't sound like somebody who deserves to be in prison for the rest of his life. This sounds more like a man who is ready to return back to his community and be a positive influence to those who are coming behind him.
