Make Sean Clifford For Heisman College GameDay's New Ol' Crimson

Make Sean Clifford For Heisman College GameDay's New Ol' Crimson
The Issue
For 15 years, Washington State alumni have attended every College GameDay and waved Ol' Crimson in the crowd of students. The recognizable icon even has its own verified Twitter account with more than 7,000 followers.
Last month, Onward State launched a grassroots movement to ensure the nation's best statistically performing quarterback would be one of the Heisman finalists invited to New York this December. SeanCliffordForHeisman.com has become a meeting grounds for us to share news on Clifford and build hype for his Heisman campaign.
The Heisman Trophy is won by players who rise to the occasion at the end of the games and whenever their numbers are called. In his limited playing time this season, Sean Clifford has done just that and perhaps more consistently than anyone to every step foot onto the gridiron, ever.
He's attempted five passes and completed all of them. And he's already thrown for 195 yards (or 39 yards per attempt) and three touchdowns. His passer rating tops out at 559.6. One time, he threw an incomplete pass. But it was only because of personal foul by the defense, so it was quickly erased. What happened next? A 44-yard pass to put the ball on the one-yard line, naturally.
America loves an underdog, and Sean Clifford is what would happen if you combined Tom Brady, Matt Saracen, Joe Kingman, and Rudy Reuttiger and had that mutant football demigod play for Bob Ladoceur at De La Salle High School.
After receiving overwhelming support from fans around the country and inspired by the dedication of one alumnus, we're ready to take our campaign to the next level.
Like Washington State fans with Ol' Crimson, we want Sean Clifford For Heisman signs at every taping of College GameDay so that we can spread the message about Penn State's incompletion-free, touchdown-throwing machine on national television every single Saturday.
Penn Staters are everywhere, so we're confident alumni scattered throughout the United States -- from Big Ten country to the heart of the SEC to the crossroads of the American Athletic Conference -- can make this movement a reality. Sign this petition to voice your support and willingness to join the fight to send Sean Clifford to New York.
