Well lots has happened since the last update. Over 2500 people signed the petition to save Colne Sports Hall. Every vote counted and the petition was a success, so much so that at the last council meeting the plans to were postponed and most agreed a public consulatation should be offered to the public. PLT still aim to change the sports hall into a coffee bar, soft play area and a fitness studio with a loan £500,000 from the council. If you do not wish to see this happen and wish to save the sports hall , now is the time to have your say. There are two ways to do this. 1. Monday 18th December 7pm at the Municipal Hall there will be a consulation evening chaired by the lead councellor and a presentation by PLT 2.
