More than 6 full days without water for many areas. And this is the 3rd water cut within a month for the Barat Daya area. Wondering how PBA executives are going to be held accountable and compensate all the suffering customers.

槟城现在的发展模式已经出轨了。这一个月的多次断水，将把全部问题都浮现出来。
这几次过后，我不再轻易相信官方了�，平日还是要多存水，西南区发展蓬勃，人口越来越多，公寓太密集，水供计划需要更完善长远的规划。很多槟城子民都问 为什么每年槟城水务局都处于高盈利 [ 2022年-7712万令吉 ；2021年- 3674 万令吉的税后利润（PAT）], 却没有预计各地的水管备件维护以确保子民获取 持续的 水源供应 ？
应该说是16年来子民本身没有监督州政府，反而放任和支持州政府把州发展重点放在无中生有的填海计划开始。槟城可说是15年来数一数二没有structure plan没有local plan 可是可以放任开拓（非发展） 的州属。 没有计划，哪来Penang Water Masterplan？城市规划几乎是涵盖一切计划的开始。不应该是任由发展商胡来或官商勾结的事情发生。
而且雪兰莪水费增加了14%，为何槟城增加超过140%？应遵循每隔几年10-20%增加的方法，而不是一次過大幅增加。这类似暴涨事件在槟城不是第一次，门牌税之前也暴涨 80-150%。

Why cut water for up to four days in Penang?
Furthermore, there must be more than one mains pipe to channel treated water out from the Sungai Dua treatment plant to various areas such as northern, central and southern mainland Penang and the cross-channel pipes. With careful planning, does the water authority have to shut down the water supply so extensively?As for Penang Island, we were told that consumers should have 24-48 hours storage. Add that to the few hundred million litres of treated water at Bukit Dumbar and the many storage tanks throughout the island – my estimate is in the region of 600 million litres.
Then, there’s the daily production of the treatment plants on the island, eg Teluk Bahang, Air Itam, Sungai Pinang and Guillemard – these should be able to produce another 300-plus million litres daily. Four days of production would add up to 1.2 billion litres. Adding that to the 600 million litres in storage on the island should give us about 1.8 billion litres. This should be able to tide us through four days of consumption. With a ‘save water’ campaign, the Penang Island side does not even need to have any disruption at all.
Rakyat is suffering now with inflation & price increase. Now these 2 months need buy mineral water & giant pail or even stainless tanks. Need take meal outside too. This 4 time water cut might need few hundred or even thousand extra for pail, mineral & food. There is no reason why PBA authority or its chairman Chow Kon Teow not to pay compensation to Penang folks. They shall even cancel the price hike due to incompetent leadership & management.

People asked the PBAPP in their facebook page. When, when can get the water?
You know what the admin of PBAPP did? He/she blocked everyone that asked or unhappy and only replied to the one congratulating them or saying good words.
You are a public body. Accept the fact that people will be unhappy without water supply for 4 days. You dropped the balls (if you even have one) by blocking the people one by one.
