We have started a campaign to collect funds where you can donate from 5€ and discount up to 75% in your tax declaration for 2019 because the budget is divided in two phases:
-A first round of 40 days, now we have 34 days, we need to get a minimum of 920€. If we are not able to collect this amount, we will not be able to go on to the second phase. It would be a good sign if we don´t have to go to the second phase because they make it difficult for us to see all the documentation, without seeing the names of the people. We know the Data Protection Law. There are formulas to see all the documentation.
-Second round. We may have to go to the second phase if we see something irregular in the documentation, according to our criteria. The use of Accountants or any other type of professional costs a lot of money. Hopefully they will let us see it all and we have no need to report anything! This round could go up to 11.100€ more due to all the costs including compensation, materials, appeals, professional services…..We are not able to pay this because a retired person, who gets to the end of the month with work, and I, although I am a public employee and my spouse works, we have many expenses like any other family with children. Also it is a benefit for the whole community to know how they are spending our money, because they put up so many obstacles to see anything, to see the disparity of the coefficients in the votes and it is also unclear how the vote counting is done.
We must also make it clear that we are against the maintenance of the EUC and the payment of the quotas without receiving anything in exchange. The threat that if we don´t pay they will stop cleaning the streets or that they will stop caring for Costa Esuri is a big lie. Why do they clean the streets and care for the gardens in the rest of Ayamonte and they do not pay this quota even though the results are not satisfactory? We are citizens with equality of rights (Article 14 in the Constitution).
Another clarification of why this demand is not against the elimination of the EUC quota? There is a simple explanation; there is a claim which is about ready to come out for the sentence in the Superior Court of Justice in Andalucia and to make a parallel claim, we have been told by many lawyers, would be useless while waiting for this sentence.
