All eyes 👀 on Council's August meeting

Updated: I spoke at the public forum prior to the 25/8/26 Council meeting and plead our case to the Counillors (and onlookers). Council did not get to vote on our motion, as the meeting agenda was packed and our item towards the end. They will finish the meeting Monday 31/8/26 starting from 530pm. There are 15 Councillors and we all we need is for 8 of them to vote for the motion on Safety at Woy Woy South Public. Let's hope common sense and decency prevail.
If anyone in the supporter group has time and is willing to contact the Mayor or your Councillors to let them know this is important to community, here are the details you'll be after. :-)

Tonight there is a meeting of Central Coast Council. Thanks to Councillor Belinda Neal, our petition is on the meeting's agenda.
Councillors will be asked via "Item 8.3 - Notice of Motion - Safety at Woy Woy South Public" to support resolution of our matter. The action being requested of them, is to direct Council staff to apply for funding from the Australian Government to make the necessary improvements.
We've now had more than 550 community members sign the petition! 💪👌
If you can help by sharing the petition in your networks, please do. Let's keep the pressure up. 😊
Thanks, Karen
