Protected Bike Lanes planned by the City of Evanston along Chicago Ave between Davis and Howard are at risk of being cancelled due to unfounded congestion and parking concerns from local real estate developers and businesses. Your support for Main Street Bike Lanes via this petition may be in vain if we cannot have an intersecting North-South facility along Chicago Ave.

We must urge Evanston City Council not to cancel the Chicago Ave Protected Bike Lane project, lest our efforts for a comprehensive bike lake network leading to safer streets and lower carbon emissions suffer a huge setback. Here is how you can help:
