PECO plans to put down hundreds (maybe thousands) of trees in Chester and Delaware Counties, PA., as part of the PECO’s System 2020 plan to install new electric system in the area. The new equipment is welcome as long as the trees are not indiscriminately removed. A clear and reasonable criteria to remove trees should be implemented as well as focus on trimming as much as possible.
