Update the Indian edition of Stroustrup's 'C++ Programming Language'

Update the Indian edition of Stroustrup's 'C++ Programming Language'
The Issue
Pearson India is causing serious harm to students in India by continuing to sell an outdated version of the the book 'The C++ Programming Language' in a low-priced Indian edition.
This book, written by Bjarne Stroustrup, the creator of C++, is one of the most important technical resources on this programming languages. The version of the book sold in India is based on the 3rd US edition of the book. Since the publication of this 3rd edition there have been major changes in the C++ language through the ISO standards revisions of 2011 and 2014. These new standards have introduced fundamentally new features and new styles of programming to the language.
In 2013 Stroustrup published a fourth edition of his book to reflect the changes in the C++ language. However, two years after the publication of this new edition in the US, Pearson India continues to sell the now obsoleted third edition of the book in India. This puts Indian students who cannot afford to buy the US 4th edition at a serious disadvantage.
We call upon Pearson India to replace the obsolete 3th edition with a low-priced version of the 4th in the Indian market.
