Motorcycle trail riding tourism  is a valuable  source of income for local businesses in the Peak District area.  Closing the 4 lanes listed to forbid motorcycles we feel has massively reduced the appeal of the local area to this group of users. Motorcycle trail riding once had just around 5% of usable lanes but has now had that reduced further by these closures.

As a group we feel we are being treated unfairly. We have had these four lanes closed yet we can not find any evidence of any other group of users such as horse riders or walkers being denied access to any other lanes in the area. Nor does any other user have such a small proportion of lanes allocated that they are permitted to use. 

By re opening these lanes to motorcycles it will make trail riding in the Peak District much more attractive to riders. This will help to bring much needed trade to the area all year round. This would assist with job security and even job creation for local people.
