Recently, the team behind @TheLostMediaMon on Twitter found some The Beatles content which was thought to be nonexistent. In 2009, Robert Zemeckis was going to direct a motion-capture animated re-imagining of the Yellow Submarine film from 1968. It was going to be published by Disney, animated at ImageMovers Digital, and utilize a tribute band known as The Fab Four for musical sequences. However, the film was canceled after the failure of this team's previous films and Zemeckis's decreased passion for the project.
In this team's findings, they found some animation tests done for the film, including two of Blue Meanies (neither are present in the attached video but they are on YouTube), a recreation of the live-action sequence at the end of the original film, and the band performing Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise). This video footage is interesting to say the least, so please give it a look!
With this in mind, it's not impossible for The Beatles' lost content to be out in the far reaches of the internet, although it is unlikely. Please keep campaigning and spreading this petition so its known that we want to hear Now And Then and Carnival of Light. Peace and love!
P.S., I have seen The Fab Four in concert before and they are spot-on. Please give them a listen!
