In the state of Missouri a child can not speak with a case worker unless the parent gives permission.  Leaving many children that need help without any one to turn too.  Children that are begging for help to be in safe homes are being made stay with parents that are drug users and even dealers, because this child can not tell a caseworker about the secret life they are made to live in daily.  This petition will help my granddaughter to be able to live in a home where she feels safe and doesn't have to deal with her mothers habit and those around her.  She won't be dropped off at know drug dealers houses to stay 3-4 days at a time.  She won't have to stay with an ex-grandmother who's husband is on the MISSOURI SEX OFFENDERS LIST.  It will give her the right to tell those who are there to protect her she needs help and get it.  Onna has 4 siblings and four of them are left with a grandmother who sells their food stamps to send her son drug money in prison. Please help us to get this petition made into law that our children are protected not the parents.  A drug user/dealer is not going to give permission for a child to talk to someone that they are trying to hide their habits from.  Lets work together to change this law and give our children a safe haven of knowing we as a state care and want all children safe and cared for.  Lets get Onna's Bill past for every child that has to live in fear and pain because our state law does not protect and give them the right to ask and receive help.  LET'S PASS ONNA'S BILL.
