Wow! Nearly 100,000 people have signed our petition so far. A big thank you to each and everyone of you. It is so encouraging to know we have so much support out there. Because the Daily Mail have still refused to pay us a living wage or negotiate with our union - United Voices of the World (UVW) - we have been left with no choice but to be balloted for strike action. We believe this will be a first for any group of workers at the Daily Mail in all its long history, and it is also a first for all of us too. Our strike fund is also now accepting donations. Please consider making a donation if you can: www.uvwunion.org.uk/daily-mail-cleaners We don’t know how long we will have to strike for before we win but need to know we’ve got some money to sustain us before we walk off the job. Our union will help us with all they can, but they are only a small union and we will need as much support as we can. We also intend to stage a big pre-strike protest outside the Mail's HQ in central London on 12th April! Please join us if you can!
