Dr. Adrian S. Pete Rescue started this petition to Bryan Steil and

As a dad of a little girl we took her to get to know and respect wildlife as much as we could. We introduced her to photography and to the great work of Jane Goodall and Tom Mangelsen. We are very proud that it worked. She is now in college studying biology. Every living species has value. My grandchildren and their grandchildren cannot and should not live in a world barren of wildlife with nothing to see on an outing over the weekend other than built environment and food industrial production with no wild species still left in nature in the wild anywhere. Disaster happened before with bison and grizzly bears and with wolves and elephants and rhinos. We should not afford to let not one single other species extinct anymore. President Teddy Roosevelt, an accomplished hunter, recognized that there can be no hunting without systematic conservation and how much the two go hand in hand. All of our prior exaggerations proved us wrong when we assumed millions were enough and that “killing a few bison here and there wouldn’t make a dent.” This idiocy of human superiority over nature has to stop. Let’s give witldlife a chance to entertain and support the quality of life of our grandchildren and their grandchildren too. They all deserve it. Who wants to live in a world without any animal or plant and surrounded all by man made robots pretending to howl like a wolf or look like a rhinoceros?
