Dear Amazing Supporters, I am so incredibly thrilled to share with you that earlier today the US House of Representatives voted on the WASP A.I.R. Act (HR4336) and it passed with unanimous support! I want to extend a huge thanks to Representative Martha McSally of Arizona who authored the bill and who has been our self proclaimed wing woman in Congress. Also I want to thank my sister, Erin, who spent a lot of her time lobbying on Capitol Hill and promoting this issue online and with the media. These two fabulous women are in the attached photo. Of course also we have to thank all of the Representatives who voted for the bill and all of you. You truly have made an impact. Many times when Erin met with Congresspeople they were already aware of the bill because they had seen a story about the petition or had been contacted directly by you! But wait! We won this battle but the war is not over yet. Now the bill will go to the Senate for consideration. Please continue to encourage people to sign our petition and please call your Senators and ask them to cosponsor the WASP Bill (S2437). This will encourage the Senate to pass the bill quickly.
