Let Manheim Township School District collect their own taxes

For all of history, Manheim Township School District took care of collecting their own property taxes at no added cost to the MT taxpayers.  One day after being re-elected in fall of 2017, Patricia Kabel as the tax collector sued the district to stop this practice and force the school district to utilize her.  Although she has a legal 'right' to do this, she gets a 'commission' for the dollars she collects.  She can 'deputize' the school district to continue to perform this collection, but refuses to do this.  We would like Ms. Kabel to reconsider this and allow the district to collect their own taxes, at a savings of $40,000 to the district.  Incidentally, we would request that she drop her lawsuit against the district.
