Petition update

Six THOUSAND against the Patreon change - can you help us add more?

Exilian

Dec 9, 2017 — At the time of writing, we've now had around six and a half THOUSAND signatories to our petition against Patreon's changes. Whilst Patreon seem to be in a "bunker down and don't reply to emails" mentality, our petition is a way to keep momentum going, give something for journalists to point to regarding the scale of the problem, and of course show solidarity as a community of creators.

We need your help to keep this going and push towards the all-important ten thousand mark, though. If you can put the link out again tagged with #Patreon or #Patreonfees on Twitter, Facebook, Mastodon, your own email lists, wherever, it will be extremely helpful in getting this to snowball forwards and, as both creators and fans, get an even bigger body of people engaged in this fight.

For creators looking for Patreon alternatives and for a deeper explainer with links, we should once again link to our general explainer & alternatives list, which some people may find helpful:

Best of luck to everyone dealing with these changes. If we can help in any other way with help, advice, or simply pictures of fluffy animals, do comment on the explainer, or tweet to us at ExilianOfficial, or email us at exilian@exilian.co.uk.

Best wishes to everyone!

PS Also, here's a picture of a tiny mouse lemur, in case that helps :)
