I had four extremely friendly, well behaved and trained snowdogs dogs. The father along with three puppies his only litter ( The father and the three siblings *Mother was shot dead when they were 4 weeks young. June 2013 ). Whom were raised very friendly in a happy family environment along with my wife and one-year-old son. we had 20 acres all woods (which they were contained & trained to stay ) on top of sleepy Creek Mountain West Virginia. Which is the only territory they had known all their lives. In January 2016 All of the puppies and I were displaced/uprooted due to separation with my wife. In January 2016 the Father & Son were shot dead by a drunk intoxicated NEIGHBOR and two other idiots ( the dogs were in 15' foot tethers at the time) when the police actually Jefferson County sheriffs deputy's came The drunks falsely stated that the puppies attacked them. Without further investigation the deputies hunted down and gunned down another puppy. One escaped her name is Spirit puppy. When she came home later that night she was captured and has been omprisoned in the Jefferson County animal control West Virginia. Ever since January 2016. She was sentenced to be killed by the Jefferson County magistrate court due to false accusations and testimonies of animal control and sheriffs deputies. I appealed her case to the Jefferson County Circuit Court. where the case has continued up to this point. her trial date is set for August 15 at 1 PM. In Jefferson County Circuit Court. The cards are really stacked against her / us. she named Spirit puppy has never hurt nor threatened a human or anybody in her life. As a matter of fact she was the most skittish of the pack she would not come within 30 feet of any stranger until I "OK" her. The animal control does not allow anyone to visit her and she is treated at a much lower level then the other dog/puppy prisoners. no exercise no walking no grooming no treats no kind words no socializing with other dogs. their attitude is she is going to be killed so why waste time. If you call The Jefferson County animal control I can guarantee they will be very short and rude to you. I am desperately seeking an expert witness to evaluate and testify in the court that Spirit is not a vicious animal. this is why I am contacting you in hopes that you may direct me to an expert witness. Or possibly retain your organization on Spirit's Puppy behalf. I have hired an attorney.
