To all our supporters,
I am writing to share that our fight for justice and accountability is gaining major momentum. Both WAVE 3 and WDRB have now covered Tony’s story and our push for Tony’s Law.
The media is finally shining a light on what we already know: Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex (EKCC) has become a place of systemic failure. My husband, Tony Broyles, was murdered in his cell just nine days before his release. Since then, three more families have faced the same devastating loss:
Ryan Rayburn
Marcus Gray
Marvin Knuckles
Four deaths in five months is not a coincidence—it is a crisis.
While Governor Beshear has recently called for "full transparency" regarding weather-related incidents at the prison, we are demanding that same transparency for the victims of violence. We are tired of the "wall of silence."
Tony’s Law will force the Department of Corrections to implement independent oversight and mandatory reporting so that no more "children of God" are lost to preventable negligence.
How you can help today:
Share the News: Post the links to the WAVE 3 and WDRB stories on your social media.
Tag the Governor: Let Governor Beshear know that transparency shouldn't be selective.
Keep Signing: We are getting closer to our next goal. Please send this petition to three friends today.
Thank you for standing with me. Tony isn't here to speak, but together, we are making sure he is heard.
