Two weeks ago Senator Gillibrand re-introduced the Military Justice Improvement Act in light of the absolute failure to address the epidemic of military sexual assault in the military. She gave an inspiring speech on the Senate floor and got us that much more energized to see this fight through! The bill could come up for a vote as early as this week, and we need to pressure our legislators to take a stand for a real reform of the military justice system.
