We want to share an important update with everyone who has signed the petition and stood behind the mission of Kaylynne’s Law.
After a year and a half of waiting, the trial has finally concluded, and the jury returned a verdict of guilty on 6 of the 7 counts. Sentencing is scheduled for February 24.
While this verdict brings a measure of accountability, it also reinforces exactly why Kaylynne’s Law matters. This case is a painful reminder that when someone in a position of trust and authority harms a child, the impact reaches far beyond the courtroom. Families, children, and entire communities carry those effects for years.
Your signature is more than symbolic — it is part of a growing call for stronger protections and increased penalties for those who abuse children while in positions of power. Change happens when people refuse to look away, and because of you, this conversation is being pushed forward.
As we approach sentencing, we remain focused not only on justice in this case, but on long-term reform so that future children are better protected, believed, and defended under the law.
Thank you for lending your voice, your support, and your heart to this cause. Please continue sharing the petition and spreading awareness — every signature helps build momentum for change.
Together, we are turning pain into purpose.
