Another Action Request-Please Schedule an EMF Training for Your Legislators with Cecelia Doucette
Hello Everyone,
Cecelia Doucette, who was featured in the film Generation Zapped, currently works as a public technology safety educator and is the founder of MA for Safe Technology, has expressed a willingness to meet (remotely) with as many of our local senators and representatives as possible before the end of the year, in order to educate them about the issues and risks surrounding wireless radiation, including radiation from smart meters. These meetings and efforts to educate our lawmakers have the potential of helping to advance MA wireless safety legislation, including our smart meter opt out bill! We, as the constituents, must initiate the scheduling of these meetings with our senators and representatives, however, once the meetings are scheduled, Cecelia can do the heavy lifting of presenting to, and educating, our lawmakers. (Of course, you are welcome to speak at the meeting as well, if you wish!). Please make sure to CC Cecelia in your meeting request to your lawmakers. (Her email is below). You can click the link below to find your local district's senator and representative. Please reach out to your senator and representative at your earliest convenience! You can also reach out to them together, and request a joint meeting. Several joint meetings have already taken place, with much success. A sample email is attached at the bottom of this update. As a constituent, I would like to request a 45-minute phone meeting that includes Ms. Cece Doucette, the Director of Massachusetts for Safe Technology, to briefly discuss:
S.129 which forms a commission to investigate health & economic impact of wireless (Senate Ways & Means)
S.1988 which protects consumer rights with a utility "smart" meter no-fee opt-out (Senate Ways & Means)
H.383 to form a 5G task force (House Ways & Means) Specifically, this House bill would better serve the public with language to address 5G health and environmental effects in addition to economic impact, as the NH law does.
