Hello supporters, After Monday's disappointment with HB646, I'm happy to report some good news: SB872, the Senate companion bill to HB646, PASSED the Senate subcommittee this afternoon with a vote of 9-5. SB872 contains the same weather language as HB646. Here's what will happen next... Now that SB872 has passed the subcommittee, it will be heard by the FULL SENATE TOMORROW. Once again, this means that I need all Virginians to contact their State Senator and ask them to vote YES on SB872!!!! PLEASE DO THIS TODAY!!!! This has never been more important than right now. If we want to get the bill to pass through the Senate, we MUST contact the Senators.
