Hello supporters, This June, I will be meeting with Delegate Bobby Orrock at his office in Fredericksburg, VA. Mr. Orrock is an influential member of Virginia's House Agriculture Subcommittee, through which most animal laws are passed and/or tabled. My goal is to find a common ground with Mr. Orrock's constituency, which is comprised largely of hunters/farmers. Regardless of how determined we are, no state law will pass without a balance or some measure of compromise. However, the focus is still to protect dogs like Rainbow (pictured) from dying in extreme weather. Virginia's relaxed laws ultimately failed her.
