Thanks to all those who have added their signatures to this petition and enabled us to crash through the 1000 barrier. Your support is much appreciated. Your comments are also really helpful because they demonstrate that you understand how introducing a stricter liability regime in Civil Law will help to protect the most vulnerable road users and bring a much needed change of attitude to motorists on Scottish roads. Given that we have had 3 fatalities over the last 7 days including a 14 yr old and a pensioner, passing this bill can't come quickly enough.
