A Pasco County man, Jeremy Mora, was arrested Sunday December 18th for choking his pregnant girlfriend and her 4lb Chihuahua until it defecated on itself and passed out. 

Jeremy Mora was charged with Aggravated Assault and Animal Cruelty.  According to the victim's Facebook page she still has not sought veterinary care for the dog who suffered incredible trauma at the hands of the boyfriend she invited into her home.  She even tagged him in her post after the attack which makes it appear that she intends to maintain contact with the abuser. 

By not seeking veterinary attention for Moo Moo the owner is neglectful and is not providing a safe and healthy environment.  I am asking that the Pasco County Sheriff's Office take the steps to protect animal victims from their abusers.  This dog does not deserve to suffer his injuries without treatment, and he certainly did not deserve the horrendous abuse he was put through.  The owner of Moo Moo should have to surrender him to an organization that can care for him until she can prove that she has taken steps to protect the dog from further abuse. 

Victims of domestic violence often go back to their abusers and they bring other victims with them.  Lets protect the ones who can't speak for themselves!!
