Sex offender getting 5 1/2 years and pled no contest. No way. My son is mentally behind in age and this is what has affected him. He has emotional issues which affect him on a daily basis. This man should have got 25-life, but because my son wasnt able to testify he pled no contest as a orignal charge as 2005. My son tells me often of where we lived when this happened and that was in 2007. The law changed in 2006 so this man is getting off. Yeah he mentally and physically abused him and 5 1/2 years is nothing like the last 11 years my son has been in therapy trying to learn to get past this now...
