UK should take the lead to protect Hongkongers

In the wake of Chinese security law being imposed in Hong Kong, it should be the former sovereign country - the United Kingdom - to take the lead to enforce the Sino-British Joint Declaration. Otherwise, it will be shameful if other countries give a helping hand to Hong Kong people before the UK did so.

In the news, the foreign secretary announced possible change in policy on BNO holders, just after the US President made his comment on Hong Kong.
