After 15 years of hard work we are happy to announce that Estonia has decided to ban fur farms and has become the first Baltic state to do that.
We are very thankful to all our supporters! The bill that bans fur farming since 2026 passed the third – and also the last – reading at the Riigikogu, the parliament of Estonia, on 2 June. 55 members out of 101 voted in favour of the bill.
On 15 June the bill was officially published in Riigi Teataja, the public journal of the Republic of Estonia.
Hopefully other countries will follow Estonia and future will be fur free!
