the unelected house of lords has 800 unelected lords who amend, scrutinise and can attempt to block legislation - there are 650 elected MPs meaning there are more unelected politicians in our legislator than elected ones, furthermore they get paid an extortionate amount of money. The problem is that the House of Lords is not an elected chamber and its members are chosen, this is anti democratic.

the House of Lords should be replaced with an elected chamber, like the US system where there is two chambers one being the senate and the other being the house of representatives, we in the UK need to reform or even abolish the House of Lords and make it an elected Chamber second to that of the House of Lords
